Ruler Book
This tag book is for a swap I'm hosting on the Lotstodo Forum. I created my tags using various inks, stamps and gesso I then cut and drilled my ruler, sanded it and inked it with alcohol inks. I attached the ruler with wing nuts and bolts, added some beaded string and finished off by adding raffia to the tags

Altered Container
This is the container that Lauren gave me to alter
And this is how it finished after I had sanded and primed it. I added backing papers from Dezinaworld's new range. Inked it and added wording done on my cricut. A great holder now for my dabbers and some of my sprays

Wooden Book/Gingersnap Creations
This has been on my work bench for ages and today I decided to finish it. Quite pleased with it. I used lots of tissue, inks, varnish and an old credit card to make the name plate which holds background paper and wording from Dezinaworld new Autumn range. The inside is covered with backing paper that Sam let me copy out of her Stampington mag. I have used transfer technique for the little girl in the LH side corner. Not sure where I got the vintage wedding image. All the other bits and pieces have been picked up whilst out and about
I think it fits in well with the theme this month on Gingersnap Creations

Altered Writing Slope/Mixed media Monday

This is what I bought from the charity shop. I like it as it is but didn't really have a use for it.
I took the doors off stripped it, sanded it, got Graeme to cut the doors and make partitions then I covered it with gesso.
I used my papers that I'd bought in Italy and have been stroking for about 4 years !!! I also used acyrlics, rubb n buff and lots of varnish. I love it !!!
Finished and filled - and so useful now !!!!
Mixed Media Monday this week has the theme "Maps" so I've entered this piece for their challenge

Lotstodo Challenge - Cities
Another altered book !!!! This time one of my favourite cities Paris - Firstly I glued some pages together then cut out my aperture. I added tissue and black gesso. The street name plate is an old credit card that I heated, cut and folded back before covering with Goldens Micaceous iron Oxide. The little bottles are an old fridge magnet that I bought whilst in France. I finished off my covers with gold rubnbuff. My pages are coverd with various coats of acrylic paints and dabbers. All my images are from the new French Collection from Dezinaworld
