Lotstodo swaps

All 8 of my tags for the swap - more info on each one in the posts below

Lotstodo swap - quotes - Alphabet Challenge

The background was created with distress inks and the spritz and flick technique - love that technique!! The main image is from Lisas altered art I sat him on a bench and added wings and a hat before outlining him in charcoal. The number 3 is a grungeboard number inked and outlined. The little bird is from Tims Visual artistry set. I stamped it and clear embossed it. The quote is one of my favourites and was stamped inked and outlined. I finished off the tag by distressing and inking the edges and then threading some raffia through the eyelet.

Compendium of Curiosities book 2

I used the technique on page 46 of Tims Compendium of Curiosities to create my background. I then did some stamping and masking - the heart was xolourede with distress stains and then heat embossed. I finished off by adding some beads and a flower before I threaded ribbon through the top.

This tag is for the challenge that Linda organises its being sponsored this week by EclecticPaperie

It fits in well with the Sunday Stamper Challenge this week too

It is also my "faces" tag for a swap I am in

Sew Sew

Another tag for a swap I am in and an entry to Creative Chemistry 101 challenge and the Three Muses Challenge

My background was created using Barn Door Distress Ink and the Spritz and Flick technique.I then stamped the buttons, I made the stamp using foam in my Vagabond

The manequin and, button and cotton reel were cut on my Vagabond using the Sewing Room Die they were inked and the added with foam squares. I used Picket Fence Crackle Paint on the "wooden" bits of the mannequin and put thread around the bobbin leading too a needle. I stitched on the button added some wording that I cut from an old dictioery and finished off by threading ribbon through the top and attaching a scissors charm with a small safety pin

Time

This tag is both for a swap I am hosting on the Lotstodo forum and an entry into the Creative Chemistry 101 challenge.

I put my tag through my Vagabond in an embossing folder - then inked it with Distress Inks and splashed a little water on it. I then distressed the edges and inked them, The "watch" and chain were made up of parts - the background in the watch was cut from Tims paper stack - I then added a spinner with a brad and filled it with Glossy Accents - the outer part I just found in my bits drawer. I attached the chain with rings and then threaded some inked string through the eyelet. The quote was stamped in Archival ink and then grunged up a bit. The quote is from Tims Visual Artistry Collection

Arches

Alison is hosting the Arches swap on the Lotstodo forum this month - the theme was "Open"

I used gesso and acrylics to add colour to my background - I then did a bit of stencil doodling. The little girl images are from Lisa's Altered Art and the lady cut from a magazine. I added some bits to the lady - outlined her and then stamped my wording, cut it out, added it and outlined it. The little girls were grounded on to scrap pieces that I had cut, they were outlined and then the words were added and outlined. I finished all 3 arches by inking the edges.
