These are the tags I've created for a swap Alison is hosting on the Lotstodorevisited forum. I've used lots of inks, memory glass, stickles, metal, alcohol inks and fragments besides lots of bits and pieces from my box
I used lots of Utee, stampbord tiles, buttons, beads, memory glass, friendly plastic - stamped polymer and anything I had lying around to alter this mirror
I used Tims dies to cut out the pieces for my hanging thingy !!I then used the technique on page 58 of Tims Compendium of Curiosities to create my background with masks and Distress inks. I then added my images and book plates and finished off with my butterfly attached with silicone glue and my wording. I attached all the pieces to each other with jump rings and finally added the whole piece to a piece of twig to give it some strength
I latered this mirror bought from Ikea - A couple of coats ob black gesso - lots of stamping and embossing - flower made from newspaper - love the look
I created my background with distress inks and sequin waste. Stamped my image on to mountboard inked it and attached with silicone to give a bit of dimension threaded fibres through the top and inked the edges before adding my twilled wording with my stapler
I had great fun making this piece. the unit itself was made from cardboard - reinforced with strips of cardboard and all glued together. I painted it with black acrylic put some backing paper from Tims stack on to the back pieces and then added my stamped tiles and some lace. I then added some gold acrylic here and there. the flower was made using the technique on page 65 of Tims Compendium of Curiosities - I die cut the leaves using my new Alterations die. The bird was then cut again with an aleterations die and grunge board I inked it - added and eye and then attached it to the twig with some wire. The flower, leaves and the bird were all attached to the frame with silicone as were the metal ART letters on the top.
For this page I used Distress Inks and one of Time masks to create my background. I then added a Journal Ticket to which I had stamped "Original" This was followed by my Hand and watches which I black embossed and inked. I then added my watch face and covered it with glossy accents and added all the clock pieces. My last whatch was created by adding the face, glossy accents and the pointers the watch cover which was then put on a chain and secured with jump rings.
The last page for the Grungy Book swap being hosted by Zoe on the Lotstodorevisited Forum I have really had lots of fun doing them all and look forward to the swap
really enjoyed thinking this page out. The background is just a piecve of lace patterned paper out of my stash. I then added all the bits and pieces that came to me from the title.

The background was taken from Tims new stacker book and inked after sanding a little. I then did some random stamping added some postage stamps and a suitcase stamped on to a journalling ticket. Finished off by adding one of Tims tokens

We had the opportunity to use 1 wild card during the making of the book. I took up that option with this page and called it "The many faces of Art" instaed of the one entitled "This song is for you "
My background is all swirls highlighted with Inkessentials white pen. The top face was made by copying a brooch Alison had made for me using mold n pour and then filling with UTEE. The other tiles were made by stamping on to mountboard and inking.

This was a very easy page to do but quite effective I think. The background is an old music sheet followed by an image (Tuscan Rose) then the metal wire attached with "screw" brads, My word and then one of Tims metal tokens attached with a jump ring. The page is entitled "Full Metal Jacket"
