Lotstodo Challenge - Little Boxes

I used Sams excellent instructions on the Technique Zone to create my slidemount box. I couldn't find my acetate so used crackle glaze to cover my image. I used metal tape - embossed with cuttlebug folder to go all around the edges.

Morning all

Well I've now moved home and am in my new craft room with most things up and running. I have so missed visiting your blogs but will be finding my way around them this week.

We still have bits to do but nothing urgent now so we can take our time.

Lotstodo Challenge - gorgeous gesso

I used gesso to transfer my image on to my card. I then used gesso through a stencil to create texture when dried I inked with distress ink using cutndry and added my flower for embellshment and finally added my wording.

Not done any crafting at all this this week. Sorry if I've missed visiting your blog we are moving home very soon and have a lot of work to get done first so have been round at the new home most of the time since getting the keys last Friday.

Lotstodo Challenge - Alter It

This box originally held cuff links and tie pin!!!! It now holds my postage stamps!!! I covered the whole box in Gesso and then once it was dried I covered the top in a thick coat of 3D paste I run a comb through it to create ridges - next came a coat of green acrylic and then I run a bronze dabber over some areas. To decorate I used some memory glass, an image and sealed with memory tape. I then coated a bamboo dominoe with dabbers - stamped it then varnished it. I finshed the domino by adding some wire I had wound round my pen to curl. I lined the inside with matching paper.
