I started my piece by putting some mountboard through my zyron. I then made the tiles - embossing, stamping, heat embossing, inking, distressing, glossy accents, alcohol inking and generally having a great time. I added some buttons and pieces of Ideology. When I was happy with the layout I sprinkled bedazzles in all the areas that were left and then run my brayer over so they would stick to the backing

Write Home
Another tag for a swap I'm in. The tag was put through my Vagabond in an Embossing foder. I then inked it with distress inks and flicked water on it. I added the small postcard with my tiny attacher stamped the pens on and then did the wording with Letraset. I finished by threading some ribbon through the top and heating it to crinkle it. I attached the little pencil with wire.
I am also entering it for the Three Muses Challenge where this week the theme is Words in Art

Sew Sew
Another tag for a swap I am in and an entry to Creative Chemistry 101 challenge and the Three Muses Challenge
My background was created using Barn Door Distress Ink and the Spritz and Flick technique.I then stamped the buttons, I made the stamp using foam in my Vagabond
The manequin and, button and cotton reel were cut on my Vagabond using the Sewing Room Die they were inked and the added with foam squares. I used Picket Fence Crackle Paint on the "wooden" bits of the mannequin and put thread around the bobbin leading too a needle. I stitched on the button added some wording that I cut from an old dictioery and finished off by threading ribbon through the top and attaching a scissors charm with a small safety pin
Time
This tag is both for a swap I am hosting on the Lotstodo forum and an entry into the Creative Chemistry 101 challenge.
I put my tag through my Vagabond in an embossing folder - then inked it with Distress Inks and splashed a little water on it. I then distressed the edges and inked them, The "watch" and chain were made up of parts - the background in the watch was cut from Tims paper stack - I then added a spinner with a brad and filled it with Glossy Accents - the outer part I just found in my bits drawer. I attached the chain with rings and then threaded some inked string through the eyelet. The quote was stamped in Archival ink and then grunged up a bit. The quote is from Tims Visual Artistry Collection

Tag and Holder - Sunday Stamper
I've had so much fun making this tag and a little case to put it in. I used lots and lots of Tim Holtz products. The tag was first put through my Vagabond using an embossing folder - it was then inked and embellished. Love the way the grunge fastener turned out - I used Distress Inks and Picket Fence crackle paint. I think the rest of the cover and tag is self explanatary but if you would like to know more just leave a comment and I'll get back to you. The tag was inspired by a workshop I so enjoyed with Hels so I am entering this for the Sunday Stamper challenge this week
Foam Stamps
Made these foam stamps following Tims instruction in Compendium of Curiosities 2 - They were made on my Vagabond using all my most recent dies. Love the way they turned out and they stamp really sharp.

Sunday Stamper Numbers
I stamped the background for my tag with Distress embossing powder I then added white embossing powder and heat embossed. I inked all over with Barn Door Distress stains. I then used tissue to wipe the ink off - the embossing had acted as a resist. I stamped my main image on to mountboard and inked. I then stamped my quote (TH) and cut it into pieces. I attatched my raffle ticket which I had distressed with my tiny attacher and then added the quote pieces using foam pads. To finish off I inked some ribbon and added some beads using a pin from TH embellishments
Its Sunday Stampers 200 challenge this week so Hels has so generously supplied some candy - details in my sidebar
The wheels go round
This is my last page fopr a swap I am hosting on the Lotstodo forum - I created my background with distress inks and water - I then overstamped it using Black Archival ink. I cut the cork cogs using my Vagabond and one of Tims dies. The other cogs are on acetate and sepearted with washers - I attached the cogs and chain with a brad and glossy accents. The sentiment (TH) was stamped on to Centura card with Archival - inked with distress inks then attached with foam pads

Tim Holtz Tags 2012 - March
I missed the deadline for getting this tag done -but hey ho thats life - The tag was put through Vagabond in an embossing folder and distressed and inked. I love the technique used on the butterflies - used die to cut out of grungeboard - put through xyron 'cos I didn't have any of the right product - stuck tiny pieces of Tims papers on and then used embossing powder as the grout - I stamped the quote stamp with Archival ink - the rest of the inks used were DI walnut stain and vintage photo. The tag was finished by adding the little flower/leaves from Tims ideology collection and then threading some ribbon which I had coloured with distress stains through the top

Art Quilt Hanging
I followed Donna Downeys on line course to make this cute little hanging - the patchwork squares and wadding were machine stitched on to canvas and then embellished. The hanging was finished by attaching another piece of canvas to the back - again by machine - the eyelets were fixed with my cropodile
I am entering it in the Alphabet Challenge - which this week is E for Embroidery - and there is lots on this piece - thanks for looking - your comments are appreciated

Creative Chemistry Folder
I set about altering a folder ready to put my note in from Tims Creative Chemistry class, I covered it with Terminoplogy Tissue Wrap which I had scrunched up and the flattened out - I used pva to adhere it.I then put lots of Distress Inks on drying in between each layer. I added a bit of clear embossing powder here and there. To finish I added my stamped wording, number and the top torn from one of the downloaded pages. I used a grunge board fastener and hitch fastener as closure.
I now have everything together for when I want to use the techniques

altered Notice Board
My notice board was dropping to bits - the cork was more holes than cork !!!! So, I altered it. I used spray adhesive to attach some Batting material - I then added my top material and attached it with my heavy duty stapler pulling it very taut. I then added my strips of corded ribbon and the little pegs for attaching my notes etc

Smell the Flowers

This is one of my pages for a swap I'm hosting on the Lotstodo forum.
I made my panel with Picket Fence Distress stains and a background stamp - when dry I inked it with chipped saphire distress ink - the stain acted as a sort of resist, I stamped my quote, inked the edges and layered it. I then stamped directly on to my mountboard again with Chipped Saphire and a mist of water. I added everything to the card and inked the edges, Finally I added a flower that I'd made up with bits in my drawer.
